The Arrival

Arrive heavy. Leave resonant.

Six nights in the jungle outside Tulum: sound baths beneath Holistika’s Dome, cacao at dusk, mornings in a cenote, and a stillness you carry home.

This retreat is an invitation to put everything down for a while. We gather at Holistika, a jungle sanctuary just outside Tulum, where the days move at the pace of breath.

Each day is held in sound: crystal and Himalayan bowls, gong and voice, in the shala at sunrise and beneath the Dome at night. Between sessions there is time to rest, swim, read, walk the jungle art path, or simply do nothing at all.

You don't need any experience with sound healing or meditation. Come as you are. Leave lighter, softer and more yourself.

The Place

Holistika Tulum

Holistika is a jungle wellness sanctuary just outside Tulum: 24 rooms around the pools, shalas built with sound in mind, the Dome where we gather at night, a jungle art path, and Tierra, its plant-based restaurant.

The Days

Light finds its way down. So will you.

The practice: sound, breath and stillness
  1. Day 1

    Arrive & open the circle

Our shuttle meets you at Cancún airport and brings you into the jungle. Settle in, then gather for welcome cacao and an opening sound bath as the cicadas begin.

  2. Day 2

    Into the stillness

Sunrise movement in the shala, a slow plant-based breakfast at Tierra, an afternoon to rest by the pool, and an evening crystal bowl journey.

  3. Day 3

    The water

A morning in a nearby cenote: cool, clear and lit from above. An integration circle in the afternoon, and a gentle sound bath under the Dome at night.

  4. Day 4

    Earth & fire

Hands in clay, a walk along the jungle art path, and a temazcal ceremony at dusk, led by a local facilitator.

  5. Day 5

    A day of rest

Nothing scheduled until evening. Book a massage, swim, journal or sleep. We close the day with a candlelit gong bath.

  6. Day 6

    Closing circle

A last sunrise practice, a long lunch together, and a closing sound journey and circle under the stars.

  7. Day 7

    Return

Breakfast, goodbyes, and the shuttle back to Cancún airport.

Arrive
Land at Cancún (CUN) by 1:00 pm on Day 1; the group shuttle leaves at 2:30 pm
Leave
Book flights home leaving Cancún after 1:00 pm on the last day

Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). It has the most flights and the best fares, and it's about 1.5 to 2 hours to the retreat by road. Our group shuttle meets you there inside the arrival window. Tulum International Airport (TQO) is closer, but it has far fewer flights. If it works for you, that's fine: let us know and plan your own transfer. Uber doesn't operate in Tulum, so please don't plan on it. Please wait for your "Retreat confirmed" email before booking flights.

We confirm the retreat is going ahead by Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Please book travel after that email arrives.

Questions

Can I come on my own?

Yes, most guests do. Choose a shared room and I’ll match you with a roommate, or book a private room.

I’m new to sound healing. Is this for me?

Absolutely. Everything is gentle and guided, and you’re always welcome to rest through any session.

Which airport should I fly into?

Cancún (CUN) has the most flights, and our group shuttle meets you there inside the arrival window. Tulum (TQO) is closer but has fewer flights; if you choose it, plan your own transfer. Please wait for the “Retreat confirmed” email before booking.

What’s the food like?

Plant-based meals at Tierra, Holistika’s restaurant, made with local ingredients. Tell me about allergies or other needs on your guest page.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, it’s required. Choose a policy that covers trip delays and cancellation, and add the details on your guest page.

What is the Visitax?

Quintana Roo charges visitors a small tax (about 285 MXN). Pay it online at visitax.gob.mx before you travel and keep the QR code.

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Yes, though I’ll gently invite you to use it less.

What if I need to cancel?

Your deposit holds your place and isn’t refundable. The full refund schedule is shown before you pay and in the agreement you sign.
